Torque screwdriver sets for electronics and assembly

A torque screwdriver set lets you drive screws to an exact, pre-set torque, so joints hold firmly without damaging the screw head, the thread or the part. In electrical work, electronics, precision mechanics and machine building a controlled tightening torque is often specified, and a complete set puts the adjustable handle and the matching bits right at hand.

You set the required value and the screwdriver slips or clicks once the torque is reached. When choosing, look at the torque range and the fineness of the setting: low values from around 0.8 Nm are meant for delicate electronics, while versions up to 5.0 Nm or 6.0 Nm handle heavier clamp and screw joints. Watch the supplied bit profiles, whether it can be recalibrated and an insulated version for live working.
